Summary:
Wheaton Warrenville South High School creates an annual yearbook to celebrate the football season. Mothers of the players were tasked with the creation of the yearbook in years past. This yearbook includes all scores and statistics for each game, player profiles, newspaper clippings, special events, and recaps of previous years.
I worked at Alphagraphics in 2018 and was hired to make a modern, eye catching book to showcase the team’s accomplishments. Over the span of a few months, I put together a 136 page book highlighting all the team’s accomplishments and victories. The client made very few stylistic changes, most of the edits were related to the content and spelling of the text.
For the next 2 years I freelanced the design of the book in my off-time. The team was impacted by Covid and had to push their 2020 season to a shorter Spring 2021 season. I made the book for 3 years but had to decline the following years because I got too busy. Someday I would like to revive this contract.
